A large proportion of internet users access websites from mobile devices – on some websites we’ve produced they
account for over 50% of visitors. If your website is not optimised to be viewed in this way, you may be losing customers.

We design web sites that can be viewed on both large screens and mobile devices. To make the website compatible and
adapt to different resolutions and sizes, we use a technique called responsive web design.

What is responsive web design?

Responsive Web design is the approach that suggests that design and development should respond to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. The practice consists of a mix of flexible grids and layouts, images and an intelligent use of style sheets. As the user switches from their laptop to iPhone, the website should automatically switch to accommodate for resolution and image size. In other words, the website should have the technology to automatically respond to the user’s preferences.

This eliminates the need for a different design and development phase for each new gadget on the market. There is no need for a second ‘mobile website’ so updates only need to be completed once.
